It's easy to see that little hashtag letting you know it's an "ad" and have your brain pop up with all sorts of questions! How did they connect with that company/brand? How much did they get paid? Why did they got a sponsored post like that?

So, I'm here to tell you all about how to get your very own sponsored posts, and land some partnerships you'll love!

First things first, the trick to landing a sponsored post and creating a partnership that'll truly be beneficial to you both, is to be sure that it's a good fit. Do. Your. Research. Whether it's a brand/company you've followed forever or just found them and are obsessed with what they offer, know about what they stand for. Each brand offers much more than just a product or service, so understand their purpose and determine whether it's something you stand for as well.

Help Them Catch the Vision:

Once you've decided you're a good fit for a specific company, reach out and help them see what a good fit you really are. Share with them what values you share, and be specific about creative ways you plan to showcase their offerings on your page. Presenting your ideas will help them to envision the content you could create for them and get them excited about what you can do.

Be Specific About How You'll Be Beneficial:

Every partnership should be mutually beneficial! Whether you're being sent product or compensated monetarily, make sure that you're creating content that will be great for them, and worth their investment as well! Let them know how you plan on sharing what you genuinely love about their brand with your audience, and what ideas you have for high quality images!
